Discovered on IG due to a hashtag- these are my favorite at the moment.

is at the #Acklandmuseum. Many folks know her infinity chambers (her installation at #ncma in 2018 stole the show) but not her painting. Glad I got to see the one below at the #armoryshow since COVID19 might shut things down before I get over to UNCCH.
I also found this little piece about Donald Judd interesting, which starts off with a story about his reaction to her work.

I am (also) interested in systems that generate (somewhat) unknown outcomes. He has work up now in Garden or Grave.

Has the goods and Artsy thinks so as well. Her work occupies a certain intersection of media similar to Erin. Glad I got to see these recently!

This overview of Modernist abstraction in the Arab world is a great show I got to see recently- Mohammed has two very nice pieces in it.

One of several artists new to me that I’ve found while searching IG for #ArtMadrid.

Artsy says Nathalie is one of the 9 #womenartists we should all be watching. Picked an image with a human for scale- wow!

Technically neither is a formalist (both rely on abstraction as an element though) and they also both believe there is #abstractionallaroundus.

Funny that Op Art should pop into my feeds twice in one week. Patrick and Hanz collaborated on a solid piece that’s in Hard Painting x2.
